Dehydrated Sweet Potato Dog Treats

Would it surprise you to know that dogs love the taste of sweet potatoes? These veggies are a canine favorite, and they’re healthy for our four-legged friends, too! Sweet potatoes are loaded with vitamins and minerals, and they are low in fat and high in fiber to support your dog’s digestive health. This dog treats recipe, using a dehydrator to lock in nutrients, is a great way to give your pup the goodness of sweet potatoes.

6 sweet potatoes
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. parsley
1 Tbsp. rosemary
1 Tbsp. sage


  1. Cut the potatoes into 1/4-inch thick strips or rounds.
  2. Place in a single layer on dehydrator sheets. Brush oil on each one and sprinkle with herbs and spices.
  3. Dehydrate for 12 hours.
