Another ruff night? Let these organic biscuits guide your pup into a restful slumber. Made with chamomile tea, pumpkin seeds and oat flour, your dog will love the taste and you’ll love the calming properties they possess. Plus, a treat before bed gives your tail-wagging buddy something special to look forward to every night. We dig it.
Organic “Bedtime Biscuits” for Dogs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or non-stick baking mat.
In food chopper, pulse pumpkin seeds until finely ground.
In medium bowl, combine ground seeds, oat flour, applesauce and contents of tea bags; mix well. Dough may be a little sticky at first but will stiffen.
Roll into balls; flatten. Arrange on lined cookie sheet. Press with fork to further flatten.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until firm to touch and bottoms are browned. For softer treats, remove earlier.
Transfer to wire rack; let cool completely.
Depending on your dog’s weight and activity level, give 1 to 4 treats 30-minutes before bedtime. Begin with a smaller serving to gauge your dog’s sensitivity to the ingredients, then gradually increase to the suggested daily amount if needed.
Shelf-life & Storage
