Easy Homemade Fruit Muesli

But here in the U.S., this mixture of oats, fruits and nuts fills breakfast bowls, fueling hungry bodies with protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals first in the morning for a power-packed start to the day. If you’re dieting, muesli is an ideal meal because of its low calorie and fat content. But you may like it even better because it’s quick to make””and even quicker to serve. The prep work is done the night before, then 30 seconds is all it takes to get a hot, nutritious dish on the table.

Homemade Fruit Muesli

Easy Homemade Fruit Muesli

Serves 1

2 cups diced apple
½ cup sliced banana
¼ cup slivered almonds
1-1/2 cups organic rolled oats
2 Tbsp. raw honey
1 cup organic raisins
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
½ tsp. cinnamon


1. Follow package directions to cook oatmeal.

2. Add honey, raisins, apples, lemon juice and cinnamon to cooked oatmeal and stir well.

3. Refrigerate overnight.

4. Before serving, heat muesli in microwave for about 30 seconds; top with bananas and almonds.
