Easy Homemade Honey BBQ Sauce

Love barbecues but not the mounds of sugar in traditional BBQ sauce recipes? This is just the thing you need! Make this homemade honey BBQ sauce and limit the amount of sugar in your favorite dishes. With honey as sweetener, this quick, easy-to-make sauce offers the perfect balance of sweet and smoky.

Makes 1 cup
Serving size: 2 Tbsp.


1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup organic ketchup
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. turmeric
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. molasses
1 tsp. pink salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper


  1. In a pot, stir together all ingredients. Bring to a rapid boil and then remove from heat. Whisk to combine.
  2. Pour into a glass jar to cool before serving.
  3. Refrigerate leftovers.
