So, recently, that all-too-familiar stomach ache means you’ve been skipping stuffing – until now, that is! In this gluten-free stuffing recipe, brown rice pasta is the key ingredient, replacing cubes of bread and offering a soft, comforting texture that’s easy on the stomach.
Ingredients
1 box Explore Cuisine Brown Rice Fusilli
1 Tbsp. flaxseed meal + 3 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. Organic Gemini TigerNut Flour
2 Tbsp. Nutiva Coconut Oil with Buttery Flavor
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. Simply Organic Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Simply Organic Thyme
1 tsp. Simply Organic Sage
1 tsp. Simply Organic Rosemary
1 tsp. Redmond Real Salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
2 celery stalks, diced
1 yellow onion, diced
Directions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, but allow pasta to cook longer than required to make extra soft and mushy.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flax and water to make flax “egg.” Set aside to thicken.
- In a bowl, combine drained pasta, flax “egg,” and remaining ingredients. Mix until combined.
- Enjoy on its own or stuff in turkey and cook as usual.
