Magic Chocolate Shell

Whether you’re a parent to little kids or a kid at heart yourself, finding an easy, healthy and homemade magic shell recipe is a big win. This vegan version has only three ingredients and comes together in a blender, making it easy enough for busy moms and little ones (with supervision, of course) to whip up. Dip your favorite fruits into the mixture and freeze them to the harden the shell. Voila! You’ve got a healthy, kid-approved treat.

Ingredients

2/3 cup pHresh Greens Cacao Powder
1/2 cup Vitacost Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Nutiva Refined Coconut Oil
Fruit (strawberries, cherries, pineapple, etc.)

Directions

  1. Line a baking tray with non-stick mat or parchment paper.
  2. In high speed blender, combine cacao, maple syrup and coconut oil. Process until smooth.
  3. Transfer to a small bowl for dipping.
  4. Dip fruit into chocolate sauce and place on prepared baking tray. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to set.
