Yesterday my 23-month-old son Dakota was eating oatmeal for breakfast and plastered more on his little half-naked body than he spooned into his little mouth. Here’s what he looked like a few minutes before we were slated to hit the road to drive to preschool:
I had a choice in that moment. I could A. Freak out and get annoyed or stressed or anxious or distracted or whatever (Note to Self: This is all paddling upstream.); or, B. Make a choice in that moment to paddle downstream, and laugh. Laughing has a very high vibration! Laugh a lot if you can. But I digress.
I’ve done a lot of yoga and studied the Law of Attraction for a long time, so this super-mom knows better than to choose A. I chose B, grabbed my iPhone and started taking photos of the little guy, who then started laughing himself and posing for the camera.
Were we late for preschool? Hell yeah. Did I care? Nope. The Universe sent me many a synchronicity after our (late) drop off to make the day flow well, even still. Ya gotta love sychronicities.
And I couldn’t happen but notice, in the photo I took, that my little guy looked just like an angel. Look at the halo of light around his head.
Miracles happen every day. Open your eyes to them. Open your eyes the beauty of your life. Be grateful for this moment. This moment is your life.
Best way, in my humble opinion, to open your eyes to the beauty of your life (even if”¦) and find gratitude? Become awake and aware. Get aligned. Remember who you are.
Best way to do that? Get on yo mat.
Have the best day ever!
Namaste!
