A tongue-tickling balance of sour and sweet, this kombucha-based mocktail is the perfect refresher. Already sans alcohol, it’s a healthier mocktail still, concocted with fresh-squeezed red grapefruit and lime, sweet and fizzy peach kombucha, mint leaves and a drizzle of maple syrup. Fun fact: Maple syrup easily dissolves in cold liquids and keeps this buzzy bevvie vegan-friendly.
We’ve found that creating mocktails with kids can be a great experience. It allows their imaginations to run wild, resulting in inventive flavor combinations, and gets them thinking about the wholesome nutritional benefits offered by the plentiful gifts from Mother Nature.
