Minty Moringa Superfood Energy Balls

Dealing with your mint chocolate chip cravings just got easier. These sweet and refreshing energy balls feature your favorite chocolate-mint flavor combo as well as a dose of nutrition. Moringa is a nutrient-dense superfood and the perfect ingredient to infuse these energy bites with a dose of green. Add a touch of peppermint extract for a minty treat that is as good for you as it tastes.

Ingredients

1 T. Moringa powder
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. mini chocolate chips

Directions

  1. In food processor, pulse moringa, oats and coconut flakes.
  2. Add syrup, oil, peppermint and water and pulse again until sticky batter forms.
  3. Add mini chocolate chips and pulse until distributed.
  4. With tablespoon, scoop batter out and roll into balls.
