So many nuts, so many wonderful homemade nut butter options! This warming, earthy, slightly sweet and salty walnut butter is nutritious, delectable and made with only five wholesome ingredients. Walnuts offer many health benefits and this recipe incorporates cinnamon and vanilla to add an elevated flavor. Smooth it over whole grain bread, blend it in a smoothie or scoop it up with apple slices and you’ll see that the world is just better with walnut butter!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Spread walnuts on paper and roast 10 minutes.
  3. To food processor, combine nuts and syrup, pulsing until smooth. Scrape down sides as needed.
  4. Add vanilla, salt and cinnamon to food processor and process until fully mixed and smooth.
