					Ingredients
Dredge
- 1 loaf challah bread sliced thick
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/3 cup milk of choice
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. pumpkin spice
Pumpkin spice butter
- 1 stick salted butter room temperature
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice
Optional topping
Instructions
- 
										To make pumpkin butter, use large mixing bowl and add softened butter. Use electric hand mixer to whip butter for about 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix for 1 more minute until fluffy. Set aside.
- 
										Heat large skillet over medium heat.
- 
										Add all ingredients for dredge to square baking dish. Mix well with whisk.
- 
										One by one, add slice of bread to dredge and coat well.
- 
										Add tablespoon of butter to skillet. Once melted add bread to hot pan. Cook for 2 minutes then flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove when golden brown.
- 
										Top with whipped butter, pumpkin seeds and maple syrup.
