Bursting with juicy dark sweet cherries and kissed with the warm flavor of almond extract, this cherry crisp filling bubbles up beneath a golden, buttery crumble that just so happens to be vegan and gluten-free. The topping is a perfect mix of tender oats, light brown sugar and a pinch of salt, creating that dreamy contrast of crisp and soft in every bite. It’s comfort food made wholesome — and trust us, it needs a big scoop of vanilla ice (or “nice”) cream on top. Whether you’re serving a crowd or sneaking an extra spoonful straight from the pan, this cherry crisp is pure fruity joy.
