Ingredients
- 1 block sprouted organic extra-firm tofu
- 1-2 Tbsp. organic coconut oil or avocado, for sautéing
Marinade
- 1 large garlic clove minced
- 1 Tbsp. organic coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp. coconut aminos smoked or regular
- 1 Tbsp. organic soy sauce
- ½ Tbsp. toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp. minced ginger fresh or jarred, use more or less as desired
- 1 tsp. fresh turmeric minced
- 1 tsp. maple syrup
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Red pepper flakes to taste
Garnishes
- Sesame seeds
- Scallions chopped
Instructions

Drain tofu, lay on paper towel or clean kitchen towel and place another towel on top. Place pan or other mid-weight object on top to lightly press 30 minutes to remove excess water.

Cut tofu in ½-inch cubes.

In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients for sauce and marinate tofu ideally 3-4 hours. (Note: You can also opt to toss, mix and sauté.)

In large nonstick skillet or wok over high heat, heat oil. Add tofu and stir often until golden brown and desired consistency. (Note: If desired, cook prepared tofu on sheet pan in oven at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.)

To serve, top with chopped scallion and sesame seeds.
