Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and prepare two 8x4 loaf pans and line with parchment paper.

In mixer, add wet ingredients, including butter, sugar and avocado oil. Cream until smooth.

Add eggs, milk of choice and vanilla. Combine until light and fluffy.

In medium bowl, sift dry ingredients.

Pour dry ingredients into wet and gradually mix until well combined into a smooth batter.

Pour batter into two prepared loaf pans. Dollop apple butter spread and gently swirl with a toothpick or knife. Top loaf cake with thinly sliced apples and optional sliced almonds.

Bake 45-50 minutes, until center is set. Test with a toothpick. Cool 20 min before slicing.
