Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 apple cut into half slices
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In medium mixing bowl, whisk milk with sugars, olive oil, applesauce and egg.

Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

Pour into large loaf pan.

Top with apple slices.

Bake 50 minutes, until middle is cooked through.
Recipe Notes
- Create a cinnamon crumble by mixing brown sugar with cinnamon and butter. Sprinkle on top before baking.
- Make into muffins if desired. Instead of pouring into loaf pan, pour into prepared muffin liners.
