Honey Almond Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Beat egg yolks with honey, vanilla, salt and baking soda with a whisk.

  3. Mix in the almond flour.

  4. In a separate, small bowl, beat the egg whites with a hand mixer for a minute (peaks are not needed), then fold in the egg whites into the cake batter.

  5. Pour batter into a 9” pan lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  7. Remove from pan and then let cool.

  8. Drizzle with the remaining honey and sprinkle almonds on top.
