Sugar cookies
- 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 large egg well beaten
Frosting
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Toppings
- 8-10 strawberries finely chopped
- 2 kiwis finely chopped
- 1 mango finely chopped
- 12 raspberries
- 1 cup blueberries
Instructions
Sugar cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In medium mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.

In stand mixer bowl, add butter and sugar. Use beater attachment and mix until creamy.

Add egg and vanilla extract. Mix well to combine.

Add flour mixture and mix at low speed until combined.

Divide dough into 12 pieces and shape into balls.

Place balls on lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake 10-12 minutes or until edges turn golden brown. Let cookies rest a few minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool.

Make sure cookies are completely cool before frosting.
Frosting

In stand mixer bowl, place cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla essence and salt. Beat until mixture is smooth and creamy.
