Ingredients
- 1-½ lb. chicken breasts boneless and skinless
- 1-½ lb. chicken thighs boneless and skinless
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ½ cup water
Barbecue sauce
- ½ cup yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar + 1 Tbsp. for thinner sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. paprika
- ½ tsp. chili powder
Instructions

To slow cooker, add chicken, salt, pepper and water.

Cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.

In small sauce pan, combine all barbecue sauce ingredients and bring to boil while whisking. Remove from heat.

Remove chicken from slow cooker and transfer to mixing bowl. Using two forks, shred chicken, discarding fatty bits from thighs.
