  1. Add butter to saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it foams and turns golden brown. Pour into mixing bowl and let cool for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Add sugars and mix until combined.
  4. Next, stir in eggs, vanilla and sourdough discard. Mix until just combined.
  5. Add all remaining ingredients (excluding chocolate chips).
  6. Once combined, fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Let dough cool in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  8. Scoop dough into balls about 2 Tbsp in size onto baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden and allow to cool.
