  1. In large pot on medium heat, add butter and sauté onion for 5 minutes.
  2. Add salt, pepper, celery and garlic and sauté for and additional minute.
  3. Add flour and mix carefully for 1 minute. Whisk in vegetable broth, cream, broccoli, carrots and cheese.
  4. Cook on low for 8 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Remove from heat and serve warm.
