Instructions:

Select an open area away from puppy's food & bed

Unfold then place pad on floor with blue plastic side down & white absorbent side up.

Place puppy on pad to allow him/her to smell the pad.

Allow puppy to relieve itself & reward with praise & a treat.

Discourage chewing or playing with pad. If accident occurs, bring puppy to pad immediately & reinforce that the pad is a place to relieve itself. Repeat as needed until puppy is using regularly.

Dispose of soiled pads in trash & replace pad immediately.

Once puppy is using pad on a regular basis, begin to move pad closer to door & eventually outdoors to complete the training process. Always be patient & consistent while training. Praise & a treat will help make the process easier for you and your puppy.
