Made with a blend of aromatic ginger, nutmeg, turmeric and cinnamon, these donuts are soft, moist and perfectly spiced. Baked Sweet Potato Donuts With Cinnamon-Sugar

Cinnamon-sugar coating

Instructions

  1. In large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Sift or whisk, then set aside. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In another bowl, combine wet ingredients. Whisk dry ingredients into wet until well combined.
  3. Prepare donut baking pan with avocado spray. Transfer batter into piping bag or zip-loc bag, close carefully, and cut one side of tip of bag. Squeeze batter into a donut pan approximately 2/3 full. Tap carefully to make sure batter is spread evenly.
  4. Bake for approximately 15 minutes, depending on oven. Let donut settle and carefully transfer to cooling rack.
  5. In medium bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar with pinch of salt. Next, brush each donut with melted ghee and coat donut with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
