Halloween Chai Muffins (Gluten-Free)

Increase the fun of Halloween with spooky-cute muffins lovingly laced with chai spices. Gluten-free flour mixes with fall flavors of cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and clove. Incorporating coconut oil, applesauce and maple syrup instead of processed sugars, dairy and dyes makes for a muffin more monsters can munch and every goblin will gobble up gleefully.

Halloween Chai Muffins (Gluten-Free)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 12 wells of muffin pan with black paper cups.

  2. In medium mixing bowl, combine flour, spices, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Add 3 tablespoons batter per muffin cup.
  5. Bake 15-18 minutes until toothpick inserted into center of muffin comes out clean.
  6. To decorate, cut out bats with black construction paper. Tape bats to toothpicks and place into muffins.
