Chocolate Cherry Nice Cream
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Cool, dreamy and decadently rich, this vegan chocolate cherry ice cream is made from just a handful of better-for-you ingredients. Frozen bananas form the luscious base, blended with real cherries, maple syrup, vanilla and a swirl of cocoa for a classic flavor combo that never goes out of style. Studded with dark chocolate chips and bursting with cherry goodness, every bite is a little celebration. Just blend, freeze and scoop for a homemade dessert that feels totally indulgent (but isn’t).

Chocolate Cherry Nice Cream
- 4 large ripe (firm bananas (sliced and frozen))
- 2 Tbsp. almond milk
- 2-1/2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 2 cups cherries (pitted and halved)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- To large food processor, add frozen bananas and blend on high until smooth. Add 2 tablespoons almond milk halfway through to help with the process. Stop to scrape down sides periodically.
- Add unsweetened cocoa powder, vanilla extract and maple syrup to food processor. Blend until mixed in.
- Add cherries and dark chocolate chips and pulse until they are broken into smaller pieces.
- Pour mixture into a container with lid and freeze 4 hours.
- Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.
