Our Irish Sea Moss grows naturally along marine sea beds and is 100% wildcrafted and sustainably harvested. With great care we have sourced our sea moss from small harvesters that operate in the cold waters of the north and southern latitude where the moss grows. The sea moss is dried for 3 to 7 days to remove moisture while retaining potency. It is packaged without any preservatives or additives.
Our Irish Sea Moss is sourced from Maine, Canada, Ireland, Northern France and Chile depending on the season and only grows in cold waters.
Irish Sea Moss is one of the most potent herbs available. In fact, it got its name because people during the Irish famine in the 1800s began to eat sea moss so they wouldn't starve. It has been used by oceanside civilizations for centuries to promote overall health.
How to Use
How to Make Sea Moss Gel
1. Rinse 2 oz of raw sea moss in spring water twice.
2. Soak the rinsed 2 oz of sea moss in spring water for up to 24 hours.
3. Remove sea moss from spring water, then rinse again.
4. Using scissors, cut the sea moss into small pieces. (This prevents the blender from jamming)
5. Add 2 cups of spring water and the soaked sea moss to a blender.
Blend together until it reaches a smooth consistency.
6. Transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate.
The sea moss gel stays good in the refrigerator for several weeks.
Directions For Use:
Sea moss gel is commonly added to smoothies, juices or foods. Add 1-2 tablespoons to your beverages or foods. For best results, take daily in the morning.
