What are GMOs?
Plants, animals and microorganisms whose DNA has been modified by non-traditional methods are considered genetically modified organisms (GMOs). As a result, the characteristics of the original species are changed.
Proudly Supporting the Non-GMO Project
When something is genetically modified, it is no longer in its natural form. At Arrowhead Mills, we believe that families should be fed the purest ingredients that Mother Earth has to offer. That’s why nearly 17 Arrowhead Mills products are verified by the Non-GMO Project, while another 28 – and counting – are enrolled.
In addition to being a Platinum Sponsor of Non-GMO Month in October, Arrowhead Mills has joined the Non-GMO Project (NGP) initiative to help consumers identify the non-GMO option when shopping for the most natural and organic products.
The Arrowhead Mills® Commitment
All of our non-GMO-verified products are also certified organic. We pride ourselves in producing foods without the use of pesticides, herbicides, artificial preservatives, flavors or colors and absolutely no genetically altered ingredients. Our organic fields and crops are harvested with great care to yield the best tasting foods. From our family to yours, we’re dedicated to bringing the quality you’ve come to expect from Arrowhead Mills.
