Frontier Cut and Sifted Turmeric Root is ideal for brewed tea and for pickling brines, adding rich, earthy flavor without cloudiness. It has a mildly sweet aroma and a warm, peppery, slightly bitter taste with ginger and nut-like undertones. To enjoy the benefits of turmeric in tea form, steep Frontier Cut and Sifted Turmeric Root directly in water and strain, or place into re-usable tea bags. Our organic bulk turmeric root is kosher certified and non-irradiated.
Directions
To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 2 tsp. cut & sifted turmeric root. Cover and steep 10-15 minutes, strain and serve immediately.
