Our gems are shaped like hexagons. Why? Well, have you seen hexagon-shaped chocolate before? Didn't think so.


Baking was the foundation of the Hu Chocolate line. In 2012, Hu Kitchen restaurant bakers needed a chocolate for their paleo pastries. Hu's chocolate bar line arose from that baking chocolate, which they now bring to you. Meet Hu Gems. Hexagon-shaped chocolate chunks made from organic cacao. Rich cocoa flavor punctuated by subtle caramel notes (similar to Hu's Simple chocolate bar) – a solid (read: addictive) choice for both snacking AND baking.


No stabilizers: best kept below 75 degrees to avoid melting.

Cookie Dough Chocolate Cups

Filled with vegan cookie dough, these no-bake chocolate cups put the CAN back in “candy”! Not only are they little bites of yumminess, they’re also good for you. Because they’re wholesomely made with grain-free nut flour, honey, sunflower butter and no refined sugar (not even in the chocolate!), they’re packed with nutrients like protein and magnesium. Cookie Dough Chocolate Cups

  • 1 cup Bob’s Red Mill Paleo Flour
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1/2 Tbsp. SunButter Organic Sunflower Butter
  • 1/2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • ? tsp. sea salt
  • Dash baking soda
  • 1 bag Hu Gems Dark Chocolate Chunks
  1. On plate, arrange 12 mini paper muffin tin liners.
  2. In medium bowl, mix together all ingredients except chocolate. Add 1/3 cup chocolate chunks and combine with hands.
  3. In saucepan over low heat, melt remaining chocolate until liquefied, about 2 minutes.
  4. Spoon chocolate into each cup to fill bottom, top with cookie dough, then cover with more melted chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate 20 minutes until chocolate hardens.
