Directions
Add a little gourmet flair to any of your soup, sauce or stew recipes.
Shake well. After opening, refrigerate and use within 7 days.
Stovetop: Heat on Medium in a saucepan, stirring frequently.
Microwave: Heat on High for 1 minute in microwave-safe bowl. Stir and repeat.

Bulgur Pilaf with Sweet Potato
This veggie-rich dish is just as perfect as a holiday side as it is for a quick, nutritious lunch. Bulgur is an underutilized grain with a light nutty taste and a pleasantly chewy texture, and is a great switch-up from rice, quinoa and couscous. Use it as a base for this savory sweet potato pilaf and introduce the goodness to your family.
Bulgur Pilaf with Sweet Potato
- 1 cup bulgur
- 3 cups veggie broth
- 2 cups sweet potato (chopped)
- 1 cup tomatoes (chopped)
- ½ onion (chopped)
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ¼ tsp. turmeric
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ cup parsley (chopped)
- In fine mesh strainer, rinse bulgur.
- In 3 qt. pot, combine bulgur, broth and veggies. Bring to boil, then turn down to simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in spices and add chopped parsley. Serve warm.
