Cut candied yams in syrup with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Microwave: Microwave Oven Cooking Instructions: Drain slightly, if desired, then place in a microwave safe dish. Cover and cook on high power about 3 minutes. Stir and season to taste.
Steam: Stove top cooking instructions: Drain liquid into saucepan and boil down until 1/4 inch covers the bottom of pan. Add yams, put on tight-fitting cover, and steam until heated through. Or place in a casserole, add corn syrup or brown sugar, dot with butter and bake.
