Made exclusively with Barassica Juncea, these brown mustard seeds undergo a unique and intricate process: from storage to weighing to sorting to mixing to cutting (rather than crushing) into mustard paste. This elegant mustard is characterized by its creamy texture, appealing color, spicy taste (with a touch of heat to the nose), and smooth finish.
Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within 3 months.

Apple Walnut Quinoa Salad
Quinoa adds an extra filling and healthy punch to a salad. This harvest-inspired dish with spinach, quinoa apples, walnuts and goat cheese is nutrient dense and vibrant – perfect as a meal or side. The salad is finished with a mouthwatering dressing whisked together with olive oil, lemon, apple cider vinegar and mustard that pops with all of the flavors. We can’t think of a more scrumptious and energizing lunch.
Apple Walnut Quinoa Salad
- 5 cups fresh spinach (chopped)
- 2 cups cooked quinoa
- 1 whole apple (sliced thin)
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/3 cup crumbled goat cheese (or feta cheese)
- 1/2 cup walnuts (roughly chopped)
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- In large bowl, combine all salad ingredients.
- In small bowl, mix together all dressing ingredients.
- Pour dressing over salad, toss and serve.
Note: Add 4 oz. of grilled chicken to each serving for more protein.
