MamaSuds makes and uses a true castile soap in our laundry soap formulation that has no extra fat (called superfatting in the soap-making world). This means our formula will not harm your laundry or your machine by leaving residue behind. Your laundry will come out soft and clean, no need for dryer sheets! Safe for cloth diapers.
Use: Pour entire contents of pouch into your 64 oz container, add 48 oz of water and shake well.
For best results after refilling: If you have average water (hard water, but using a water softener or city water that is already softened) + high-efficiency washing machine, you should use:
1/2 tablespoon for a load of bath towels
1/2 - 1 tablespoons for a regular clothing load
1 - 1.5 tablespoons for a dirty load (like sports gear)
1.5 - 2 tablespoons for cloth diapers (or equally dirty load)
*for regular washing machines, use double the amounts described above.
*the softer your water is, the less soap you need to use. Have hard water? You may need a little more soap than described above.
