Similar to fettuccine but slightly less thick, tagliatelle originates from the northern regions of Italy. Montebello version is made using durum wheat semolina organically grown on a small cooperative of family farms in the rolling hills overlooking the Adriatic Sea. It’s often the cut of choice for serving with a hearty Bolognese or Alfredo sauce.
1. Add 4 quarts water and 1-1/2 Tbsp salt per pound of pasta to a large pot.
2. Bring to a boil and add pasta, stirring immediately to prevent clumping
3. Cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain, sauce, and serve.
