- For 1 lb. of pasta to 4 quarts water.
- Bring water to a roiling boil, add salt, add pasta to boiling water and stir. Cook uncovered and stir occasionally until desired tenderness is reached. Drain well, add sauces and serve.
- Cooking time: 10-12 minutes.
