RXBAR tells you what’s on the inside, on the outside. Each label reveals that RXBAR protein snacks are made with real, whole ingredients from actual food. These pantry-staple items are minimally processed and free of anything artificial. Here’s what you can expect:
• Egg whites: This high-quality, complete protein ingredient is dried, then turned into a powder. It’s pasteurized and inspected by the USDA to ensure safe consumption.
• Dates: Loaded with naturally occurring sugars, dates provide a healthy dose of sweet and binds the ingredients together.
• Nuts & legumes: Heat-treated (not raw) and safe to consume, your favorite RXBAR product may be made with pecans, hazelnut, cashews, walnuts, peanuts and/or almonds.
• Chocolate: Cacao beans are ground, liquefied and solidified to create unsweetened chocolate. All RXBAR products that contain cacao are free of dairy, soy and sugar.
• Natural flavors: In some items, you’ll also come across natural flavors, which include oils, essences and extracts from natural sources, like spices, fruits or plants. The natural flavors used in come from real ingredients that could be found in nature and do not include artificial preservatives, added colors, animal products, synthetics or GMOs.
Where do RXBAR Ingredients Come From?
RXBAR ingredients – which are all gluten-free and kosher – are responsibly sourced, with as many as possible coming from the U.S. While most of their ingredients are inherently non-GMO, the dedicated team behind RXBAR partners with suppliers that meet their standards to ensure the ingredients that fall into the “natural flavors” category (described above) are also non-GMO.
