What is eco-friendly laundry detergent?

You may be wondering what makes laundry detergent “eco-friendly.” As its name implies, an eco-friendly detergent is one that is gentler on the environment. It typically contains plant-based ingredients in lieu of the potentially harmful ones commonly found in conventional detergents, and the packaging is often reduced, recycled and/or recyclable. Talk about a win-win! Eco-friendly laundry detergent is a smart choice for individuals with sensitive skin or allergies, as well as those who are environmentally conscious.
