Sweet Potato Wedges with Creamy Cilantro-Lime Sauce

Grilled sweet potatoes are a quick and easy side dish that brings healthy deliciousness to any meal. Fire up the grill and cook the potatoes until soft, tender and have perfect grill marks, or use a pan on the stovetop for very similar effect! Drizzle on a creamy, zesty sauce for bright flavor and dig in. Sweet Potato Wedges With Herb Cream Sauce in Compostable Paper Bowl

Sweet Potato Wedges with Creamy Cilantro-Lime Sauce

  • 8 small sweet potatoes (or 6 large, cut into ½-inch-thick wedges)
  • 2 Tbsp. avocado oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Parsley leaves (for garnish)
  • Baby spinach leaves (for garnish)


  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp. lime juice
  • ¼ tsp. honey
  1. Preheat grill to low to medium heat.
  2. In bowl, whisk together sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, honey, salt and pepper.
  3. In mixing bowl, toss sweet potato wedges with avocado oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Place potatoes on grill and cook 6-8 minutes, or until slightly charred. Flip and repeat on other side.
  5. Plate wedges, drizzle on sauce. Serve sprinkled with parsley and spinach leaves.

Note: Feel free to use a pan on stovetop and follow the same steps!
