You Will Need
» 1 small onion, thinly sliced
» 1 small green bell pepper, sliced
» 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
» 1 pound boneless chicken or trimmed steak, sliced into strips
» 3 tbsp oil
» 1 pouch Simply Organic Fajita Simmer Sauce
Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and peppers. Cook until golden and crisp-tender, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Remove to a plate.
Add 2 tbsp oil and the chicken or steak. Cook until golden, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes.
Add cooked vegetables and sauce to skillet. Mix until thoroughly coated and heat to a simmer. Stir until meat is cooked through. Serve in warm tortillas.
If desired, serve with salsa, sour cream, guacamole or cheese. Squeeze fresh lime over fajitas for an added fresh note.
