Keto Pear Crisp

Pear Filling

  • 3 large pears (cored and sliced)
  • 3 Tbsp. chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger

Coconut Almond Crisp Topping

  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup grass-fed butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup cashews (chopped)
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat 9-inch pie dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In medium bowl, combine pear filling ingredients, and stir gently until well combined.
  3. Pour pear filling ingredients into pie dish.
  4. To create topping, stir together coconut almond crisp ingredients until mixed well.
  5. Crumble topping over pear filling until evenly distributed.
  6. Bake 25-35 minutes or until topping is golden-brown.
  7. Serve with additional chopped cashews and homemade coconut whipped cream, if desired.
  • Substitute coconut sugar with any keto-friendly granulated sweetener of choice.
  • Substitute cashews with pecans, almonds or any salt-free nut of choice.
