Herb Roasted Pork Loin With Balsamic Glaze
Nothing says “special occasion” like a pork loin roast. With the right prep, patience and basting brush, you’ll present your guests with a main course worthy of a holiday dinner table. Speckle the tenderloin with dried herbs and cook using a grill or oven, basting regularly with a balsamic-butter glaze until cooked to perfection. This simple main course pairs perfectly with any side dish.
Herb Roasted Pork Loin With Balsamic Glaze
- 1 pork tenderloin roast
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar glaze
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Dried Italian herbs or oregano
- Rosemary for garnish
- Preheat oven or grill to 275 degrees F. (Note: If cooking pork tenderloin in oven, use roasting pan with rack.)
- Rub olive oil on tenderloin. Season with salt, pepper and dried herbs. Let sit 30 minutes.
- In mixing bowl, combine butter and balsamic vinegar glaze, mixing well.
- Place tenderloin on grill or in oven for 20 minutes, then brush tenderloin with glaze-butter sauce.
- Flip tenderloin every 5 minutes and brush with sauce.
- Using meat thermometer, check tenderloin in thickest portion. Tenderloin is done at 142 degrees F.
- Rest 20 minutes.
- Slice and serve with your favorite sides.
