Cherry-Berry Yogurt Parfait
It starts with yogurt or, in this case, vegan yogurt. On its own, it’s a little plain, so you like to add toppings. Lately, a spoonful of granola just doesn’t cut it. Nuts and fruit will do the trick, adding substance, nutrients, sweetness and a bit of crunch to your dish. In your small glass jar, smooth meets crunchy and breakfast becomes more like a dessert.

Ingredients
1 cup dark cherries
1 cup blueberries (or choice of berry)
2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond yogurt (can use coconut or cashew yogurt)
1/2 cup almonds, toasted (whole or slivered)
Granola, to top
Directions
- In a medium-sized glass jar, layer the bottom with yogurt. Add cherries, another layer of yogurt and then blueberries and toasted almonds.
- To serve, sprinkle with granola.
