Spindle-shaped pasta, fusilli pair well with both lighter sauces and heartier meat ragus that will hug to their springy curves.
DeLallo Organic Whole-Wheat Pasta begins as hard durum wheat grown in Puglia, Italy. Premium grains are selected then expertly milled to create an authentic Italian pasta with a smooth semolina-like texture and a healthy whole-wheat goodness.
DeLallo pasta is carefully crafted with traditional methods and generations of pasta-making experience. Each cut of pasta is formed with artisanal bronze plates to impart a coarse sauce-hugging texture. Pasta is then dried slowly at a low temperature to retain its fresh bread flavor and famous al dente bite.
Contains no additives or enriched flours. Made with Bronze Plates.
BOIL 5 quarts of water.
ADD 4 tbsp. of salt, never oil.
STIR in pasta and cover pot to bring water back to a boil.
REMOVE lid once boiling and stir to prevent sticking.
COOK for approximately 11 min. Continually check pasta for al dente texture.
RESERVE 1-2 cups of starchy pasta water to enhance sauces.
DRAIN and toss immediately with desired sauce in saucepan.
COOK together for about 2 min. on high heat to marry flavors.
