Our Refined Peanut Oil  is expeller pressed from lightly roasted peanuts for a taste and aroma akin to peanuts fresh from the shell. Toss it with warm soba noodles and slivered scallions for a heady sensation, or pour it in a pan with slices of squash and sweet onions. Gild anything with its rich, nutty flavor for a dish that's as good as gold.


Directions

This oil is best for sautéing or pan-frying over medium-high heat or, because of its full body, in sauces and salad dressings.

Chilled Asian-Inspired Green Bean Salad

This recipe features honey, tamari and tasty spices to create a well-rounded dish with a robust flavor profile. Serve as a side dish or enjoy it on its own. Ingredients

1 lb. fresh green beans, ends snapped
1 Tbsp. tamari
1 1/2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
1 Tbsp. peanut oil
2 tsp. Frontier Organic Ground Yellow Mustard Seed
1/4 tsp. Frontier Organic Ground Ginger Root
1 tsp. Frontier Sea Salt
1 tsp. honey
2 tsp. cold water

Directions

1. In large saucepan, cook green beans until crisp-tender. Chill in cold water, then drain and pat dry.
2. In small dish, combine mustard powder and water, stirring until mustard is dissolved.
3. In large bowl, combine salt, ginger, honey, tamari, vinegar and oil. Stir in mustard and water mixture.
4. Add beans and toss well. Chill and serve.
