Frontier Co-op® Organic Korintje Cinnamon (Cinnamomum burmannii) is a gourmet-quality, A-Grade cinnamon that is popular in American kitchens and commercial bakeries. Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices in the world. It was imported to Egypt from China around 2000 BC and is a staple in many kitchens today.


Korintje cinnamon (Indonesian cinnamon) adds a perfect touch of sweetness to pies, bread, and cakes alike. It is also used in savory dishes like chutneys, soups, and stews. Korintje cinnamon is a flavor booster for hot drinks such as coffee, tea, and cocoa.


Korintje cinnamon has a fragrant aroma with a sweet, smooth taste and less of the pungent heat of other cassia cinnamon varieties. It pairs well with nutmeg and cardamom.


Our dried Korintje cinnamon has been sourced from the bark of various species of cinnamon trees in Indonesia. This product is certified organic, kosher, and non-irradiated. There are no artificial additives or chemicals used at any stage of harvesting and manufacturing.

Hot Honey Roasted Nuts

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Roasted to perfection with honey and a kiss of cayenne and cinnamon, these irresistible nuts are a treat for your taste buds. Spread the joy by presenting them to friends and relatives in charmingly decorated mason jars. Feel free to use any mix of nuts you like for this tantalizing blend of sweetness and heat.

Hot Honey Roasted Nuts

  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 1 cup raw walnuts
  • 1 cup raw pecans
  • 1/3 cup raw honey
  • 1 Tbsp. grass-fed butter (or coconut oil)
  • 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. salt
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In mixing bowl, combine all nuts.
  3. In microwave or on stovetop, heat honey for about 30 seconds, until it starts to bubble. Remove from heat and stir in butter or oil, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and salt.
  4. Pour honey mixture over nuts and mix well to coat. Pour nuts on baking sheet and spread out evenly.
  5. Bake about 15 minutes, or until nuts are fragrant and golden brown, being careful not to burn them. Stir and flip nuts half-way through.
  6. When out of oven, add another sprinkle of salt, if desired. Let nuts cool prior to breaking them apart and removing from pan.
  7. Store in airtight container.
