Mango Avocado Salsa
When mangoes are in season, it’s inspiring to explore all the ways to use this sunny stone fruit. This salsa puts a juicy twist on traditional tomato-based varieties, combining mango with avocado, cilantro and lime juice. Red wine vinegar gives it a little more lip-smacking kick, but it doesn’t overpower. Scoop some up with tortilla chips or spoon it onto grilled fish. Surprise friends and family with this bright spin on a favorite.
Mango Avocado Salsa
- 2 cups mango (diced)
- 1 cup avocado (diced)
- ¼ cup cilantro (chopped)
- 3 Tbsp. lime juice
- 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
- ? tsp. Himalayan pink salt
- ? tsp. black pepper
- Tortilla chips
- 1 Tbsp. red onion (diced)
- In medium serving bowl, combine mango, avocado, cilantro, lime juice, vinegar, salt, pepper and onion if desired.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
- Store refrigerated in airtight container for up to two days.
