Ground cumin seeds can be used to easily add flavorsome nutty-pepper layers to all sorts of savory dishes. Mexican Black Beans & Rice

  • 3 cups rice (cooked)
  • 1-½ cups canned black beans (heated and drained)
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ? tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 3 Tbsp. lime juice
  1. In bowl, stir together beans, rice and all remaining ingredients.
