Our Organic Whole Thyme is one of the most popular herbs in fine cuisine today. It goes well with rosemary, sage, parsley, and oregano to deliciously combine flavors that fit Western, Cajun, Creole, and Caribbean savory dishes.


People for centuries have used different parts of the thyme plant to cure various common health problems.

The flowers, leaves, and oil were, and still are, used as a remedy to cure or bring relief to bed-wetting, arthritis, stomach aches, sore throats, and bronchitis.

The thymol found in thyme is beneficial for a variety of medical issues people may experience, in particular, its powerful antibacterial aspects.

The herb is also suggested to help with acne treatment, hypertension, and stimulating the whole metabolism system.

Using at Home
When making your own spice bundle to flavor stocks and broths our all-natural whole thyme is a key ingredient.

The herb can also be stir fried with veggies or warmed in oil to impart its uniquely pungent flavors.

Grind this whole herb prior to use to allow for a better dispersion of the flavor. The benefit is that by grinding just prior to use, the herb is able to better preserve its mouth-watering aromas and flavors.

Try incorporating it into desserts; a particularly succulent use being in dark chocolate dishes such as a flourless cake or bittersweet brownies.

Vegan Cream Cheese & Fruit Tortilla Wrap

Almond Cream Cheese

  • 2 cups almonds (skinned and soaked for 8 hours)
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup water (plus 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. Redmond Onion Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 5 tsp. lemon juice


  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • 2 Tbsp. SunButter Sunflower Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced almonds
  • 1/3 banana (sliced)
  • 2 strawberries (sliced)
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  1. In blender, combine all ingredients for cream cheese and process until completely smooth.
  2. On plate, lay tortilla. On one quarter, spread sunflower butter and top with blueberries.
  3. On opposite quarter, spread almond cream cheese and top with almond slices.
  4. Arrange bananas on third quarter.
  5. Arrange strawberries on last quarter.
  6. To eat, slice each section separately or leave whole and fold or roll.
